Cranks is a community bicycle workshop in Brighton that have all the tools and a large collection of new and used parts and helpful mechanics to help you to fix your bike and get you back on the road.
They are not currently working on a DIY basis as they normally do as they don't feel that it is safe to share tools with the general public in these days of Coronavirus.
Book 1 hour slot
What they are doing instead is booking 1 hours slots so you can bring your bike in and they will fix it for you, showing you what they're doing where they safely can.
Sale bikes
Please phone the workshop on 01273 693477 to book a time to come and look at their for sale bikes or for them to fix your bike.
They are open from 9 till 6 Monday to Thursday and 11 till 5 Friday and Saturday. They are closed on Sundays.
Repairs on donation basis
They're doing repairs on a donations basis for labour plus the cost of parts. They also sell fully serviced used bikes, usually from around £50 upwards, depending on what has been donated to them.
Bike donations
They are still happily accepting all donations of bikes and parts. They may be able to arrange collection of bikes if you are reasonably local and the bike is in reasonable condition, please call them to discuss if you're unsure.
