Community Cinema in Peacehaven, Saltdean and Newhaven

'Belfast' (PG-13) in Peacehaven Community House on 23rd March; 'Summerland' (12) at St Nicholas Hall Saltdean on 22nd March and 'Becoming Cousteau' (12a) on 26th March at the Hillcrest Community Centre Newhaven.



Belfast is a semi-autobiographical film which chronicles the life of a working class family and their young son's childhood during the tumult of the late 1960s in the Northern Ireland capital.


Summerland is a 2020 British drama about a reclusive writer who is forced to take in a young boy entrusted to her care during the Battle of Britain in 1940, and later, during the early days of the London Blitz.



Becoming Cousteau takes an inside look at Jacques-Yves Cousteau's life, iconic films, inventions, and the experiences that made him the 20th century's most unique and renowned environmental voice - and the man who inspired generations to protect the Earth.


Belfast is showing at the Main hall, Community House, Peacehaven BN10 8BB 7.30pm Weds 23rd March. Tickets are £7 and available from the information office or ring 01273 585493.
